With over 30 years of experience in talent procurement, I have successfully worked with some of the most prominent national and international acts in the entertainment industry. I maintain strong relationships with leading talent agencies across Canada and the United States and possess deep expertise in offer structuring and contract negotiation. My experience spans a wide range of venues and event types, including casinos in three provinces, music festivals, corporate functions, private concerts, and special events. Notably, I have produced exclusive performances, such as adapting a national touring act like The Tragically Hip for an intimate, private setting. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of artist protocols and the logistical nuances of talent acquisition at every level.

About David Rapelje - Owner TNR Productions Live Inc.
With over 30 years of experience in the live entertainment industry, David has built an extensive career spanning roles as a technician, promoter, producer, production manager, venue manager, operations manager and Executive Director. Since 2004, he has been a leading figure in entertainment within the Canadian gaming industry, spearheading the launch of major casino venues including the Avalon Theatre and Grand Hall at Fallsview Casino (Niagara Falls), the Molson Canadian Centre at Casino New Brunswick (Moncton), and the Event Centre at Grey Eagle Casino (Calgary).
In 2015, David opened the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre in St. Catharines, Ontario — a 95,000-square-foot cultural complex featuring four state-of-the-art performance venues. Throughout his career, he has overseen the full commissioning and production installation phases for these premier venues.
Recognized for his creativity, leadership, and no-nonsense approach, David has earned a reputation for delivering high-profile productions with exceptional professionalism. He was awarded the National Entertainment Programmer of the Year for his innovative work on Canadian college campuses. His credits as a producer and technical director include major events such as the David Foster Charity Gala, Live to Tell Concerts with Sheryl Crow, and the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame Induction Gala.
Today, David continues to be a trusted and respected figure in the entertainment industry, maintaining a roster of longstanding client relationships built over two decades.
